Irene has been appointed as Director of the new, state-of-the-art, spa.

How did your Casa de Campo story begin?

I joined Casa de Campo in 2023, coming from a 4-year run as a Spa Director at the Waldorf Astoria Los Cabos Pedregal. I’ve always been passionate about the hospitality wellness industry, with over 26 years of experience opening and managing many hotel and cruise spas in Mexico and the Caribbean region.

What can we expect from the new Spa at Casa de Campo?

This new space will provide a unique blend of prestigious services, wellness experiences, and cutting-edge technology not found in the Dominican Republic. We believe this will position Casa de Campo as a leading well-being destination in the Caribbean.

The spa features an extensive hydrothermal circuit featuring a sauna, steam room, vitality pool, cold plunge, Laconium loungers, and an outdoor pool. Also, there are 12 treatment rooms for more relaxing experiences, therapies, and many treatments supported by new technologies.

What are some of these featured spa treatments?

To start, the HydraFacial is a non-surgical service effective for all skin types that remove dead skin cells and extracts impurities while bathing the new skin with cleansing, hydrating, and moisturizing serums. For more extensive experiences, we offer Triple Detox Therapy with infrared technology, plasma, and light therapies, and Binaural Acoustic & Dynamic Stimulation, which combines audio and vibrational stimulation for a full-body, deep relaxation experience.

You’re also in charge of developing pioneering treatments. Can you explain more about them?

These innovative treatments will boast indigenous ingredients with anti-aging properties. Some of them are the Casa de Campo Detox & Restore, a wellness journey that includes a 30-minute detox session, scalp massage, a full-body lymphatic massage, and a deep hydration facial with steam, and the Organic Garden-to-Table Glow, a treatment with local, all-natural, preservative-free ingredients.
