  • Are there any nearby attractions or points of interest for families to visit?

    • Casa de Campo Resort is located on a property of more than 7,000 acres, where the only thing you will need is time to enjoy it all. Within our property, you can do countless activities such as tennis, clay pigeon shooting, horseback riding, the best golf courses, including Teeth of the Dog®, #1 in the Caribbean, a complete Spa and Wellness center, and more. If you want to know more about the Dominican Republic, excursions to Santo Domingo, Cueva de las Maravillas, and the Artisanal Cigar Factory are available, as well as buggies and ziplining for the more adventurous.

  • What family activities can we do?

    • Depending on the ages of the people who come to Casa de Campo, there are many activities to enjoy as a family. You can go horseback riding, spend the day at Minitas Beach and enjoy non-motorized water sports, or take a catamaran to Catalina Island and snorkel in the deep blue waters. They can take a lesson with any of our experienced sports instructors, participate in a pottery class, or take excursions to Santo Domingo and tourist attractions. We also offer half-day or full-day supervised programs designed specifically for our youngest guests.

  • When I play golf at Casa de Campo, what can non-golfing guests do?

    • There is so much for non-golfing guests to enjoy at Casa de Campo. Aside from the sparkling pools and postcard-perfect beach, guests can also enjoy the Spa, the Marina, Altos de Chavon replica Mediterranean village, the world-class shooting center, horse-back riding, many daily excursions, the movie theater, artisan shopping, and so much more.

  • Do you offer a summer camp?

    • Yes! Our program is packed with an array of activities that cater to children aged 1-12, including horseback riding, arts & crafts, billiard tournaments, and pool and beach activities. Kids can explore their creativity with ceramics, enjoy the thrill of banana boat rides and kayak rides, challenge their minds with puzzles, and get their faces painted with their favorite designs. With so much to do, your child will have an unforgettable summer experience while making new friends and developing valuable skills.   • What do nanny and babysitting services include?

    • You can bring the whole family to Casa de Campo without worrying about who will take care of your kids. From an extra hand during the day or night when parents are present, to fully supervised babysitting services so you can enjoy a worry-free dinner, we have a childcare provider for your every need. Our nannies have wide experience, speak English and Spanish, and are professionally trained in First Aid, CPR, and childcare.

  • What does the All-Inclusive package include?

    • If you choose to add the All-Inclusive Experience to your reservation, this is what will be included:

            • Full breakfast, snacks, lunch, and dinner at resort signature restaurants (*) or room service (applicable room service delivery charge extra).
            • Extensive cocktails, wine, and non-alcoholic beverages by the glass at the resort’s signature restaurants, bars, lounges, and from the Oasis golf course cart (bottles, mini-bar, premium bottled water, specialty cognacs, and premium brand liqueurs are not included).
            • Unlimited horseback riding, tennis, and non-motorized water sports at Minitas Beach.
            •  One round of 25 shots of skeet/trap shooting.
            • Use of family program activities, which includes our supervised children’s programs for ages 1-17, our Family Fun Zone, an entertainment center full of activities and games.
            • Non-motorized water sports.

           

  • Are there any extra fees or charges associated with certain activities?

    • Regularly, the activities include the equipment that is required. Some exceptions include Buggies and Zipline, for which you can purchase optional goggles or bandanas directly at the point of departure. There are also additional charges if you want to extend the hours of any activity, add food or drinks not included during the Catalina Tour, or if you make changes not covered in the cancellation policies.

  • Are there any restrictions on the number of participants for certain activities?

    • Some activities do have a minimum and/or maximum number of participants; off-property activities require at least 2-4 guests. You can also choose to carry out a certain activity privately, assuming the cost that varies by type of activity.

  • Is there a minimum or maximum age limit for specific activities?

    • This depends on the activity, since there are many aspects to consider. For example, horseback riding is an excellent family activity because children 4-6 years can ride a pony for 30 minutes. It is important that you consult the specifications of each activity with your vacation planner.

  • Are there any accessible activities for individuals with disabilities?

    • Depending on the guest’s disability and mobility, we can make specific recommendations for them to enjoy their stay. Consult our Vacation Planner team to assist you in preparing an ideal and safe itinerary.

  • Are there any activities available for families during bad weather or rainy days?

    • Of course! During rainy days we place table games in the reading room. You can also choose to visit the spa to enjoy various beauty and wellness treatments.

  • Are there any activities specifically designed for younger children?

    • There are all kinds of things for both the young and the young at heart at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas. We have supervised programs for toddlers, children 4 to 7, and until 17 years old. You can choose from full or half-day programs. Kids will play on the playground, enjoy arts and crafts, puppet shows, musical games, and more.

  • Are there any activities suitable for teenagers?

    • The Bonche 4 Teens zone, a supervised area exclusively for our teen guests, features a billiard table, air hockey, music, movies, and more. The Bonche 4 Teens program requires parental approval and a Casa de Campo Hotel Guest Card for entry. Teens-only activities like billiards tournaments, and parties are regularly scheduled. Bonche 4 Teens is a facility designed for all Family members especially those in ages between 13 and 17; children under 13, are required to be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times.

  • Are there any educational or cultural activities for families?

    • Yes! Altos de Chavón, located in Casa de Campo, is a cultural center for residents, tourists, and working artists from all over the world. Active studios for artists of every medium, from pottery to weaving, silk screening, and everything in between, line the cobblestone streets alongside shops and boutiques showcasing their unique creations. The Art Gallery features works from noted Dominican artists, as well as artists from around the world which helps foster a dialogue of creativity and cultural exchange. Other sites include an archaeological museum offering a glimpse into the fascinating history of the area, the St. Stanislaus Church, a 5,000-seat amphitheater, and sweeping views of the Chavón River and the Caribbean Sea.

  • Are there any evening or nighttime activities for families?

    • With ample bars, lounges, nightclubs, and even entertainment for the kids, there’s always somewhere at Casa de Campo to enjoy a glass of wine, take in a musical performance, or indulge in an unforgettable meal. We have weekly night golf events for kids and adults to enjoy, live music at La Caña Lounge if you want to stay close to your room, and many restaurants at La Marina to watch the sunset while sipping cool drinks. Once the night heats up, you can enjoy international DJs and artists at Altos de Chavón or dance the night away at spots like Genesis Nightclub or SBG Marina.

  • Can I bring my own camera or video equipment to capture memories during activities?

    • Yes, you can bring your own personal camera to take photos or videos. Please note that drone usage is not allowed anywhere on property, and professional photo or video services require a specific authorization.   • Can we participate in multiple activities in one day?

    • Yes, since we have a wide variety of activities and times available, our guests can do several activities during the day. A very popular itinerary is: tennis, clay pigeon shooting, or horseback riding in the morning, and, in the afternoon, enjoying the spa, the beach, or Altos de Chavón.

  • Can we purchase gift vouchers for family activities?

    • You may purchase a Casa de Campo gift card, which can be used to dine in our restaurants and bars, use our sports facilities, take a spa treatment or two, enjoy a boat ride to Catalina Island, and more. The possibilities are endless, and so is the fun at Casa de Campo. All you need to do is show your gift card where you wish to use it, and that’s it.

  • How far in advance should we book family activities?

    • We recommend booking your activities at least 24 hours in advance; however, we always seek to have options.
