Looking for one of the best places to celebrate the 4th of July in the Caribbean? Every year, Casa de Campo Resort & Villas brings together residents and guests for a memorable Independence Day celebration featuring golf, live entertainment, beachfront festivities, fireworks, and family-friendly activities. This year’s celebration honored America’s 250th Independence Day with two unforgettable days of festivities.
American families have long been an important part of the Casa de Campo community, making Independence Day one of the resort’s most anticipated celebrations.
This year marked a particularly special occasion as guests and residents gathered to commemorate the 250th anniversary of American Independence with experiences that blended tradition, Caribbean hospitality, and unforgettable entertainment.
The festivities began with a unique Night Golf experience at the legendary Teeth of the Dog® Driving Range.
Guests and residents enjoyed an evening under the stars, highlighted by the resort’s popular Golf Cart Decoration Contest. Creative entries featured oversized hats, patriotic garlands, shimmering decorations, balloons, and plenty of red, white, and blue spirit.
Awards recognized the Best Overall Cart, Most Creative, Most Patriotic, and Best Team Spirit.
The celebration continued the following evening at Minitas Beach Club.
The program opened with an a cappella performance of the Star-Spangled Banner by Dominican group Casi Grupo, followed by eight-year-old Ian David Ferreira performing the Dominican National Anthem.
Throughout the evening, guests enjoyed:
• Live tropical music
• An acrobatic fire show
• Dancing on the beach
• A spectacular drone show
• A grand fireworks finale
Together, these experiences created an unforgettable Independence Day celebration in the Caribbean.
