Sport and social transformation join forces at the 4th edition of the Ladies Polo Cup
On Saturday, August 22nd, we celebrated the fourth edition of the Ladies Polo Cup, a competition dedicated to female leadership in all its facets.
The T-Pack team, made up of Felicitas Páez Allende, Praxila Trabattoni, Martina Braun, Guillermina Suffern, and their captain Gabino Guzmán, took first place in the tournament. Second place went to the Benetti team, while third place was awarded to the She’s Mercedes team.

During the event, attendees enjoyed exciting polo matches, refreshing brand experiences, and learned about the Madres Maravilla (Wonder Mothers) program, supported by the Patronato Benéfico Oriental (PBO). This initiative has directly impacted 140 women in La Romana with technical training, guidance for developing entrepreneurial ventures, and support for entering the job market.
Carolina Rainer de Matos, organizer of the Ladies Polo Cup, reiterated her support for the program with the tournament’s backing, and expressed the importance of women being leaders in sports, business, and philanthropy.

Women’s polo is more than a luxury sport: it’s a movement based on social transformation and has created a sustainable network that empowers all the women who participate in it. At Casa de Campo Resort, we continue to support these important initiatives that transcend boundaries and generate social impact.
This aligns with the resort’s broader commitment to Dominican Republic sports, community development, and expanding access to Dominican Republic equestrian and polo programs.
To experience the tradition of equestrian and polo in the Dominican Republic firsthand, we encourage you to visit the polo facilities at Casa de Campo and learn more about the programs that continue elevating the sport across the Caribbean.
