Additional Toxicology Results for Dominican Republic Support Natural Causes

This week, Fox News has reported that the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Consular Affairs has found “The results of the additional, extensive toxicology testing completed to date have been consistent with the findings of local authorities.”

This further supports the findings of authorities in the Dominican Republic that the cause of death of a Maryland couple and Pennsylvania women who died in May were due to natural causes.   We appreciate the State Department’s willingness to share information about the additional toxicology tests, ensuring travelers have accurate information about these sensationalized deaths in the Dominican Republic.
