The 2025 Holiday Season at Casa de Campo offered magical moments and family experiences
The holiday season at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas is an emblematic time on the calendar where tradition, elegance, and joy come together. This year, guests and residents enjoyed a program of family events, culinary and cultural experiences, and wellness retreats to close out 2025 in style.
If you’d like to take home a souvenir from this season, we present the Casa de Campo 2025 Christmas ornament collection, designed by renowned Dominican artist América Olivo. Each ornament is meticulously handcrafted and part of a limited edition.
Music, Culture and Fun in Altos de Chavón
The season officially began on December 6th with the traditional Christmas tree lighting ceremony, a fireworks display, a live nativity scene presented by the MIR Foundation, and a concert by the Batuta Orchestra conducted by maestro Juan Carlos Polanco. From December 7th to 25th, children visited Santa’s Garden to deliver their letters, play with the elves, and receive Christmas treats. They enjoyed a magic showby Mago Gody and learned about the ancient language of our native inhabitants in a Taíno symbol workshop. Families also enjoyed the magical show “Once Upon a Time at Christmas” by the Zeller Ballet Academy on December 13th, a benefit performance for the Padre Abreu Nursing Home.
La Piazzetta was the setting for Wine Tasting Series: The Grand Champagne Soirée, two evenings celebrating this elegant sparkling wine with tastings, pairings, and an intimate atmosphere for wine lovers. Meanwhile, Vinos Minuty and La Bodega de Manuel González Cuesta hosted a Christmas centerpiece workshop.
Live music filled every corner of Altos de Chavón. Coro Armonía delighted everyone on Christmas Eve with traditional carols, followed by dancing to the season’s most popular merengues with the Orquesta DEKADAS. Genesis Nightclub celebrated its tenth anniversary on December 20th with a party hosted by Joao Ribeiro from Spain. The month’s Jazzy Night brought together artists painting live to tropical jazz rhythms on the illuminated stage of Plaza Chavón on Saturday, the 27th. The traditional Altos de Chavón Market moved into the evening to join the beautiful Christmas lights, just in time for festive shopping. And to ring in the new year with a bang, South African DJ Black Coffee transformed the Amphitheater into a giant dance floor, supported by masterful sets from JARP, Sisterk, Peter Guzmán, and Stryv.
