Alma Casa de Campo: When Seville Meets the Caribbean
Casa de Campo welcomed the soul of Spain with Alma Casa de Campo, a distinguished three-day celebration honoring Spanish culture through haute cuisine, music, tradition, and community. From intimate conversations among industry leaders to world-class performances and the vibrant spirit of a true Feria de Sevilla, the event offered guests a rare encounter with the essence of Andalucía—right here in the Caribbean.
A Gathering of Minds and Creativity
The experience began with an elegant networking cocktail at the Marina Riverside Center, bringing together business leaders, cultural ambassadors, and creative partners. This opening evening set the tone for the days ahead—an inspiring exchange of ideas framed by Mediterranean ambiance and warm Caribbean breezes. Guests connected over Spanish tapas, regional wines, and conversations that highlighted the enduring relationship between Spain and Casa de Campo.
A Culinary Tribute Led by Ramón Freixa
Friday unfolded with a celebration of taste and artistry. Chef Ramón Freixa, recognized with two Michelin stars, crafted an unforgettable dinner infused with Spanish identity and contemporary finesse. Each dish reflected the chef’s devotion to tradition while embracing creative innovation—an approach that resonated beautifully with the overall spirit of Alma.
The night continued with an emotional performance by Miguel Poveda, one of Spain’s most celebrated flamenco voices. His presence filled our Caribbean event venue with passion, rhythm, and authenticity, creating a moment guests will remember for years to come.
The Feria de Sevilla Comes to Life at the Polo Fields
Saturday brought the energy of Andalucía to the open air with a full Feria de Sevilla experience at the Polo Fields. Colorful casetas, Flamenco on horseback, traditional gastronomy, live music, dancing, and festive décor transported guests directly to Seville. Families, friends, and international visitors joined in the celebration, embracing the joy and tradition that define this iconic Spanish festival.
A Celebration That Honors Tradition and Builds Community
Alma Casa de Campo was more than an event—it was a cultural bridge. It honored Spanish heritage while creating new experiences for our community, guests, and partners. The elegance of the dinner, the emotion of the flamenco performance, the vibrancy of the Feria, and the inspiring connections formed during Thursday’s networking event all came together to tell a powerful story: Spain and the Caribbean share a passion for life, beauty, and tradition.
The magic of Alma continues to live at our Dominican Republic resort, and we look forward to celebrating it again.
