Caribbean Journal: “Why Michael Bublé Is Coming to the Dominican Republic”
Michael Bublé to Perform at Altos de Chavón Village in the Dominican Republic
Michael Bublé is heading to the Caribbean for a high-profile concert at Casa de Campo Resort and Villas in the Dominican Republic this fall. The show will be held on September 30th at our luxury resort in La Romana. This will be Bublé’s first-ever performance in the Dominican Republic, as part of his Higher Tour 2023. The concert will take place in the 5,000-seat, outdoor amphitheater at the Altos de Chavón village, a replica of a 16th-century Mediterranean village.
Altos de Chavón has hosted more than 200 shows and welcomed over 500 artists over the last four decades, from Frank Sinatra, who performed the first show at the amphitheater, to Sting and Andrea Bocelli, among other music legends. The arrival of Bublé in the Dominican Republic is due to efforts by entrepreneur Gamal Hache.
