Andres Pichardo

President

Originally from the Dominican Republic, Andrés Pichardo Rosenberg has extensive experience in the national and international tourism industry. Pichardo holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Economics from the Technological Institute of Santo Domingo (INTEC).

Jason Kycek

Chief Marketing Officer

As Chief Marketing Officer at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, Jason brings more than 20 years of luxury hospitality & development experience specializing in turning around underperforming assets and overseeing the revenue growth of companies.

Throughout his career, he has been acknowledged for his achievements in luxury resort, spa, and golf brand positioning, technical services, hotel openings, revenue management, operations and sales and marketing. José Miguel Abreu

Resident Manager

Dominican, graduated from the National University Pedro Henríquez Ureña of Santo Domingo, with a degree in Hotel Management and complementary studies at Cornell University in New York, as well as a certificate of Business Administration by the University from La Salle de México.

He began his career in the hospitality industry at the Occidental Embajador, in 2002, as Front Desk Supervisor. During his career in the Dominican Republic he worked in different hotels, including the Hilton Hotel and Courtyard by Marriott, occupying positions such as Reservations Manager and Sales Manager. José later moved to the Riviera Maya in 2007, Mexico, working in different properties in the popular region. He has extensive experience in hotels with high service standards and LHW hotels.

Charles Keusters

Director of Operations

A native of Portugal, Charles has worked in many hotels, in 12 different countries, and has been a part of the Casa de Campo family since 2014, first as Food and Beverage Director, and more recently as Director of Operations.

Charles holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and a Post-graduate degree in International Hospitality Management.

Norma Enríquez

Quality Director

Norma is Mexican, graduated from the University of Administrative Sciences (Escuela Panamericana de Hotelera) with a degree in Hotel Management.

Has received training focused on Leadership, World Class Service for Hospitality, ISO 9001-2008, EarthCheck Coordinator, Labor Safety among others. With over 15 years of experience in the hotel industry, with emphasis on management activities, planning and coordination in the areas of Quality and Training.

Rosario Velez

Human Resources Manager

Rosario, a Dominican-native, has more than 25 years of work within the human resources industry, mainly in hospitality. She began her career as Human Resources Manager at Costasur, and for the last 12 years has been responsible for the team’s development, growth and performance at Casa.

Rosario has studied abroad important fields as human resources and safety, NLP and non-verbal communication, in 2016 she earned a certification in neuroleadership by Changes Americas, effective negotiation, how to manage different generations and emotional intelligence studies, as well as having ample experience with Strategic Planning, organizational development and Leadership Coaching.

Sarah Pelegrín

Public Relations Manager

Sarah has over 25 years of experience at Casa de Campo in various areas including: Accommodations Division, Food and Beverages and, for the past 20 years, she has worked in Sales and Public Relations.

In her role as Public Relations Manager, Sarah manages media planning and marketing, PR, advertising and brand development for the resort with a specialty in Local and Latin American Markets. Sarah has Tourism and Business Administration bachelor degrees from Universidad Federico Henríquez y Carvajal in La Romana, Dominican Republic.

Richard Rodríguez

Vice President of Sales, North America

With more than three decades of travel and hospitality expertise, Rodriguez brings extensive Caribbean-specific knowledge and a proven track record to Casa de Campo.

Now based in Miami, Rodriguez has worked with significant travel players, from major consumer-facing brands such as Travelocity to GOGO Vacations, one of the industry’s leading wholesalers.

Robert Birtel

Director of Golf Operations

Robert brings more than 10 years of professional experience to Casa de Campo Resort & Villas. Most recently, he was the PGA Director of Golf and Assistant General Manager at English Turn Golf & County Club in New Orleans,

where he managed club operations as well as introduced and implemented player development programs, including ladies and junior programs as well as youth summer camps. He also served as the PGA Head Golf Professional for eight years at TPC Dorado Beach in Dorado, Puerto Rico.

Fernando Arata

Equestrian & Polo Director

Fernando Arata is an argentinian professional with ample experience in the sport of polo. Prior to Casa de Campo, he worked at Los Pingos del Taita, the world’s largest polo horse embryo center, where he organizes the only auction of trained polo horses, called Remate de Domadores [Tamers’ Auction].

He works for the ESPN Polo television channel, covering men’s tournaments and the Argentina Triple Crown [Triple Corona Argentina] live from the stockades.

Matías Territoriale

Tennis Director

Matías Territoriale began his tennis career in his hometown of Salta, Argentina at eight years old—where he excelled as a junior player. He later moved to France to participate in tournaments and tojoin the French Tennis Federation.

He graduated from the Universidad Argentina de la Empresa (UADE) with a degree in Business Administration and the International Tennis Federation (ITF), where he obtained the position as no. 669 of the ITF World Ranking.

Jake Pike

Shooting Director

Jake Pike grew up in a small country village in the UK. From an early age,
he was immersed in shooting and other rural pursuits.

He was managing a large UK shooting estate in Northamptonshire when he was approached
by Casa de Campo to improve the overall Shooting Center facility for our guests and villa owners.

Vielka Deguidi

Senior Director of Group Sales

Vielka is a dynamic sales professional with 15+ years of experience in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, she held positions with Marriott Hotels, Sol Melia International, Wyndham Resorts, and Bahia Principe Resorts.

Jane Maine De Biran

Director of Leisure Sales

Maine de Biran brings over two decades of experience in the hospitality industry and most recently worked as Director of Sales & Development for TL Portfolio. Maine de Biran gained experience in the international arena with a move to Paris, France where she was involved in various hotel projects including Hotel Montalembert, Hotel Pont Royal, and Hotel de Vigny.

Maine de Biran’s also founded the luxury hotel representation firm JMB Associates which featured a collection of legendary resorts and hotels worldwide, where she represented iconic properties such as The Grand Wailea, The Arizona Biltmore, La Quinta PGA West, The Hotel del Coronado, the Doral Golf Resort & Spa, La Costa Resort & Spa, Miraval Spa, and The Auberge Collection to name a few.

Jacqueline Stubbs

Jacqueline has over 20 years of experience in the travel industry, including time as Marketing Officer for various Tourist Boards offices.

In addition to her North American experience, Jacqueline spent more than 15 years Marketing luxury hotels , including holding the position of Sales and Marketing representative for Sata Airline, Canadian Travel consortium and other sales related Industry events in Canada. Marga Balaguer

Director of Sales – Europe

Marga is responsible for the individual and group sales in Europe. She joined the team in 2015 after spending 11 years with Meliá Hotels International and Casablanca Hotel & Apartaments.

Theresa Calcos

Director of Sales for Weddings & Celebrations

Theresa joins Casa de Campo with over 20 years of experience in luxury event group sales, promotion and product development all within the destination romance travel market.

Christopher Stubbs

After having spent a number of years as a buyer for one of Canada’s premier Tour Operators, Chris enjoyed a multiyear position as Director of Sales & Marketing for a popular Caribbean resort.

Kirsis Méndez

Director of Sales, Latin America and Caribbean

Kirsis started as representative of a wholesaler at the Santo Domingo Airport, handling group’s accounts and assisting a Commercial Director. She became Group Coordinator at Casa de Campo

Marlen Pumarol

Leisure Sales Manager

Marlen has more than 12 years of experience in the hospitality industry. In her career at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, she has worked in several departments and positions that have allowed her to acquire a comprehensive insight of the hotel’s operational areas.

She currently holds the position of Leisure Sales Manager, where she is responsible for the management and contracting of Tour Operators.

Miriam Sánchez

Sales Executive

Miriam is responsible for the management of travel agency programs and consortia programs from contracting and extranet maintenance to coordination of seasonal programs and marketing initiates from travel networks.

She also hosts familiarization trips and site visits for travel agencies and partner programs.

Alondra Rijo

Group Sales Manager

Alondra Rijo joined Casa De Campo on as a Reservation Agent. Later that same year, she started working with golf groups as a golf reservation agent. In June 2017 she was promoted to our executive Golf sales.

Kevin Trejos

Group Sales Manager for Weddings & Celebrations

Kevin is a sales professional with more than 6 years of experience, with a Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality and Tourism as well as a Post Graduate Degree in Revenue Management at ECornell. Most of his career has been in the area of ​​wedding groups and celebrations, both in the sales area and in the operational area. For the last 2 years in Casa de Campo, he has been responsible for the sale of Groups and Weddings.

Betty Medina

Sr. Group Manager Weddings & Celebrations

Betty has worked in the Weddings Department at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas for more than 10 years. Before becoming the Director of Wedding Sales, she spent time designing dream weddings for her clients as a Weddings Specialist. Gilles Gagnon

Gilles is the face of Casa de Campo golf, having devoted his energy to the resort since arriving in 1981. As Director of Golf Emeritus, Gagnon oversees the entire golf operation, including all 90 holes—at Teeth of the Dog® , The Links, Dye Fore, and La Romana Country Club (private) —as well as the golf shops and tournaments.

He also helps promote the resort, traveling around the world and maintaining a yearlong schedule of events.

Kelly Sheehan

Kelly brings more than 14 years of PGA and LPGA professional experience to Casa de Campo. Most recently, she was the National PGA Relationship Manager of the PGA Ambassador Program, where she oversaw all program operations as well as identified, vetted and recruited the most elite of the PGA professionals.

In addition, Sheehan was the first female head golf professional in the history of Marriott/Ritz-Carlton Golf.

Mónica Díaz Vecino

Mónica has a long and storied career in the hotel industry, during which she has been recognized for the commercialization of various prestigious golf courses across Europe and the Caribbean.

She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism from the University of Deusto, and a Master’s Degree in International Marketing and Tourism Revenue Management from the Bilbao Chamber of Commerce. She is fluent in four languages: Spanish, English, French, and German.

Gitti Hernández

E-commerce Manager

Gitti has held roles at some of the top agencies in the Dominican Republic with experience ranging from creative writing, graphic and broadcasting production to social media and digital marketing.

She is also a college professor of Social Media, Digital Marketing and Copywriting, and has studied Film Screenwriting too. At Casa de Campo, she manages the ecommerce production and digital marketing, including the website, email marketing, app, social media, and more.

Wendy Velázquez

Image and Advertising Manager

Wendy has worked at Casa de Campo Resort & Villas for almost eight years, as Image and Advertising Manager. She creates and oversees all graphic production for the Marketing & Sales department, including, but not limited to, ad campaigns, promotional flyers, and works in collaboration with appointed ad agencies as liaison.

Prior to joining Casa de Campo, she worked at some of the best ad agencies in the DR, such as BBDO and Saatchi & Saatchi, and held a position as a Professor of Marketing, Advertising, and Graphic Design.

Nelly Humphreys Rijo

Channel Distribution Manager

Nelly has been a member of the Casa de Campo team since 2007. She began as a Telephone Operator and has since moved up to hold positions of Telephone Supervisor, Reservation Sales Agent, Reservation Assistance, Quality Assurance and, now, Channel Distribution Manager.

Nelly has been in the travel and tourism industry for more than nine years, starting in reception at the Barcelo Hotel Juan Dolio, and holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Tourism from UCE University.

Ury Guzmán

E-commerce Coordinator

Before joining Casa de Campo Resort & Villas, Ury worked as a freelance graphic and web designer, servicing clients from across the globe on branding, web design, front-end development, and marketing projects.

As part of the Marketing & Public Relations team at Casa de Campo, he designs and implements marketing and advertising campaigns for the many services and events that take place at the resort across all distribution platforms.
