8 Things you Don’t Need to Bring to Casa de Campo
With strict airline regulations, traveling light is the best way to go. When coming to the Dominican Republic, there are many things you should bring and many things you don’t. On this post we make some recommendations about what not to bring to Casa de Campo for your own convenience.
Say goodbye to carrying a lot of cash—use your room card to sign at our signature restaurants and bars, and to book activities inside the resort. All major credit cards are widely accepted at stores, other restaurants and bars, supermarkets, and sports facilities. However, in case you really need cash there are two ATM machines at the resort’s central area and two more at Altos de Chavón. Also, at the Marina you can find 5 different banks for additional transactions.
All bathrooms at rooms and villas are equipped with L’Occitane products such as liquid soap, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, and body lotion. For extra comfort, bathrobes and slippers are available for all guests to use them inside the room or villa.
Even though tap water is not drinkable in the Dominican Republic, you don’t need to bring your own. Every day, each guest receives two bottles of water at their room or villa. All restaurants and bars will provide you with other water brands for your enjoyment.
Look, we are not suggesting you to leave your favorite clubs at home, but if you must travel light know that we will have you covered with everything you might need for your game. At our Pro Shop you will find clothing items for men, women and children, activewear, shoes, accessories, golf bags, barware, and more. You can even personalize some of you new findings with an embroidered logo!
There is no need to carry bulky bottles of sunscreen or tanning lotion, as you can find them on our gift shops and supermarkets.
