Why Casa de Campo is The Best Place To Spend The Holiday Season
The most gorgeous season has started! From December 7th to January 1st, Casa de Campo is packed with Christmas-related activities suited for all ages. The complete Holiday Season program is available here.
After the traditional Tree Lighting ceremony held at Altos de Chavón, there are still plenty of things to do to make everyone embrace the Christmas spirit. On December 20, Chavón will receive the joy of Christmas Carolers with traditional Latin American Christmas greetings and a maracas workshop to keep everyone in a festive ambiance; Santa Claus will also be present to receive children’s letters and pose for photographs with them!
Christmas Eve Celebrations
If you’re in Casa for the holidays, be part of our Dinner Specials on December 24th hosted at each of our restaurants. Be sure to book in advance and ask us about the menus. Also, enjoy carols by the Madrigalistas’ Chorus, followed by Midnight Mass at St. Stanislaus Church. On Christmas Day, Santa returns with gifts for the children to the rhythm of Armonía Choir and later to the holiday sounds of DR Café Band, playing traditional merengue music.
Catholic masses will be held at St. Stanislaus Church on December 23 at 6:00 pm, December 24 at 10:00 pm, December 25 at 5:30 pm, December 30 at 6:00 pm, and January 1 at 5:00 pm.
Concerts & NYE Parties
The last week of the year is filled with musical gatherings to keep you dancing all night long. On December 26th, three jazz groups will delight us with their performances at Christmas Jazz On The Rocks. The next day, explore Chavón’s beloved bars and restaurantes on their bar hopping event, complete with live music, guest DJs, and special cocktails. Join us on December 28th for a Merengue party with the legendary artist Fernando Villalona at Chavón Plaza.
Say goodbye to 2018 with high energy! Saturday, December 29th is reserved for the biggest dance party of the year, where the Amphitheater turns into a giant dance floor to the beats of Nicky Jam and DJ Afrojack. For the last day of the year, book a table in advance at your favorite Marina restaurant to enjoy the merengues from Rubby Pérez and his orchestra. For those who prefer a different ambiance, don’t miss the Enchanted Forest at La Palapa and the Génesis Nightclub, Café Marietta, Onno’s and The Living Room’s parties at the Chavón village.
This 2019, give the gift of Casa. Treat your special person to unforgettable experiences with our customized gift certificates, which can be redeemed in our restaurants, bars, sports facilities, spa, and even boat rides to Catalina Island!
