FISHING
ONE FISH, TWO FISH Grab a friend for a half or full-day of deep-sea fishing. Many fisherman, local and visitors alike, land a variety of trophy fish including wahoo, dolphin, tuna, kingfish, sailfish, marlin and barracuda, which are plentiful in local waters. Fresh water fishing, a trip that winds through lush tropical vegetation, tall cliffs and palm trees down the Chavón River is also available. Although fresh water may seem like less of a challenge, weekend warriors should take heart, near world-record snook have been caught in the Chavón!For those interested in photography, the two-hour river tour is a scenic ride with superb views.
SNORKELING
If you enjoy snorkeling, you´ll have a great time at Casa de Campo. Snorkel at the resort´s private Minitas Beach, or on an excursion to one of several pristine offshore islands. No matter your choice, you´re sure to enjoy the crystal clear water and colorful reefs of the Caribbean Sea!
KAYAKING
A wonderful adventure for families and friends, two different kayaking experiences are available at Casa de Campo. Kayak in the crystal water of the Caribbean Sea off Minitas Beach or enjoy the natural beauty of the Dominican countryside while quietly paddling along the tranquil Chavon River. Just around a river bend, you can look up to marvel at the architectural wonder, the breathtaking Altos de Chavon village perched cliff-top above the river! Featuring single or two-person kayaks.
SAILING
Sail hobie cats, Kayak or hobie wave 13" from our private Minitas Beach or for the challenge of a larger vessel, sail from the Casa de Campo Marina! Love the experience of sailing, but don´t know how? At the Casa de Campo Marina, you can learn from the globally recognized professionals of the Scuola della Vela, direct from Italy.
