La Romana, Dominican Republic Sunday, January 25th to Friday, January 30, 2009 Dear Lady Golfers, We are excited to dedicate the 4th week of January as, "Ladies Golf Week" at Casa de Campo. Many activities have been planned for lady golfers and non-golfers who will be attending. The all Inclusive packages have been customized especially for that week and are a great value for participants. The golfers will be playing on three outstanding Pete Dye golf courses. The Teeth of the Dog ranked # 1 in the Caribbean has 7 holes bordering the Caribbean Sea. The Dye Fore, with magnificent views of Altos de Chavon, the Caribbean and the Casa de Campo marina will mesmerize you. The Links although shorter than the other two courses requires accurate drives off the tees and precise iron play to score well. The non-golfers can choose from horseback riding, tennis, skeet shooting, spa treatments at "Cygalle Healing Spa" or just a relaxing day at the beach or around the pool. Casa de Campo offers a variety of restaurants under the all inclusive packages with Italian, Chinese, Dominican, and sea food at nine different locations throughout the resort. Start the day with a brunch style breakfast at Lago grill with individually prepared fresh fruit juices and complete the day watching the sunset at the beach or at the 19th hole bar overlooking the Teeth of the Dog. It is important that you book your flight as soon as possible because the Dominican Republic is a popular destination in January. You can fly directly to La Romana airport on AA from Miami or San Juan, Puerto Rico on American Eagle which is 10 minutes away from the front desk. You can also fly to Santo Domingo Airport on AA, Continental, Spirit, USAir, etc which is a 1 hour and 10 minutes transfer. Part of the tournament entry fee will go toward helping the "Dominica School and Orphanage" in Santo Domingo. Leanne Cusimano and her family have been great supporters of this orphanage and Leanne will be on site during the tournament to help with the event.
